1. French Army Leaving Lebanon
10 April 1946, the last French
troops left Lebanon area. France occupied Lebanon and Syria in 1918 following
the end of the First World War and a fracturing of the area under the Khilafah
OttomanTurki.
However, when World War II broke out
and the French occupied Germany, Lebanon changed hands power over to Germany.
